Stand Up Comedy Nights with Yuk Yuk’s On Tour at the Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery are back on Saturday March 16 with outstanding comedians Tony Binns & Jeremy Furlong. Comedy nights are a great date night, or a night to spend with a group of friends! Come in a good mood and be ready to laugh.
It’s the ultimate revenge of the nerd! Tony’s self-deprecating style and myriad of voices and impersonations leaves audiences in stitches. It’s a “nerd’s eye view” of the world that only a grade “A” geek can provide. In addition to doing stand-up, Tony is also a founding member of the sketch comedy troupe Obscene but not Heard, the evil geniuses behind the shows “Jihad me at Hello” “Cirque Du So Lame.” and “Fahrenheit 7-11” . He was a contributing writer the hit show Cocktales, for which he was nominated for a Betty Award, and was recently a smash hit at the Calgary Comic Expo.
Tony takes witty pokes at pop culture, and pop culture icons. Trust us, by the time he’s done with Kermit the Frog, we guarantee you you’ll never look at Sesame Street the same way again. See why the Calgary Herald called his work “wickedly funny!”, and Calgary Magazine said he was “…arguably the best stand up comic in town”
Jeremy Furlong tells jokes for The Love of The Game. My Field of Dreams is an audience full of laughter, with nobody playing Hardball. Some might say I’m just The Natural at comedy, but others say I’m just The Kid From Left Field. Either way I’m not forgetting my roots now that I’m in the Major League and bring the funny for everyone. My comedy is designed to get The Benchwarmers into a Fever Pitch. Angels in the Outfield is the last baseball movie reference in my bio.
The Venue & Village
The Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery hosts many great events all through the year, including Yuk Yuk’s Stand Up Comedy, Magicians, Burlesque & Live Music every Monday. Great seating and viewing options for guests and a full dinner and bar menu.
The Village of Radium Hot Springs is a peaceful mountain village in British Columbia’s Columbia Valley in the heart of the Kootenay Mountain Ranges. Only 2h45m West of Calgary, Radium Hot Springs borders on Kootenay National Park.
While visiting Radium, stay with one of our many boutique accommodators, and plan on visiting the Radium Hot Springs Pools, the new Zipline, one of the great courses on the Columbia Valley Golf Trail, or this list of many other things to do. Radium is neighbours to communities in the Columbia valley like Invermere, Panorama, Windermere, Fairmont Hot Springs, Canal Flats, and Edgewater.
