Stand Up Comedy Nights with Yuk Yuk’s On Tour at the Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery are back on Saturday October 13 with outstanding comedians Derek Sweet and Brittany Lyseng. There have been over two years of regular comedy nights at the Horsethief Pub in Radium, and we always have a great time!

Derek Sweet
With dark, insightful comedy that achieves its effect by forcing the audience into self-examination, Derek Sweet eases the shock to their ego by coupling his mockery with outrageous confessions and self-deprecating humour. In the end everyone ends up pointing a finger at the human race and laughing together.
Derek has been interested in comedy since a very young age, performing in comedy sketches, writing comedy songs, and drawing strip comics like the very popular “City of Zeroes”, which was enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of readers. He was also co-host of the popular video gaming podcast, “Stuck in the Middle of Somewhere”
Derek has toured all over Canada from BC to Nova Scotia, can be heard on XM radio, and was chosen to participate in the Homegrown competition at the “Just For Laughs” Festival in Montreal in 2013! Derek prides himself on providing every audience with the show that’s right for them. He has opened for many impressive acts, including the legendary Doug Stanhope, Dave Coulier of “Full House” fame, and a myriad of Canada’s best talent, proving that he can bring the funny whether it’s dirty or clean!

Brittany Lyseng
Brittany Lyseng is a nationally touring stand-up comedian. She can be heard on CBC radio’s Laugh Out Loud, Sirius XM and seen on Kevin Hart’s LOL network. Brittany’s down-to-earth view of the world is capturing audiences across Canada, and has earned her a place at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, JFL Northwest in Vancouver as well as multiple appearances at her home town YYCOMEDY festival in Calgary, Alberta. Brittany’s humble beginnings as a tradesmen are apparent in her unique delivery and one-of-a-kind view of the world.
