The Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery is having a Karaoke Contest through the decades.
$1500 in total cash and prizes.
2 qualifiers each week win $100 gift card + an invitation back to compete in the finals on December 1.

Qualifiers:

  • Contestants may enter 1 song each week from the decade of the week in the Qualifiers.
  • Panel of judges will select one winner among the qualifiers, and announce the winner that night.
  • Winner is awarded a $100 Horsethief Pub Gift Certificate valid starting the day after winning.
  • Winner is invited back to compete in the contest finals December 1.
  • Winner may attend future qualifier weeks and may sing for practice or enjoyment, but may not participate in the contest again until the finals.
  • Entered songs will be video recorded and posted on the Horsethief Pub’s Facebook Page for
  • page fans to vote for a winner by liking the video(s) they enjoy.
  • Video with the most “likes” by the Wednesday at noon after being posted will be selected as the winner.
  • Winner is awarded a $100 Horsethief Pub Gift Certificate valid starting the day after winning.
  • Winner is invited back to compete in the contest finals December 1.
  • Winner may attend future qualifier weeks and may sing for practice or enjoyment, but may not participate in the contest again until the finals.

Finals:

  • Up to 8 contestants will have been selected in the qualifier weeks
  • The contestants able to attend in person will sing the song they won on at the Qualifiers.
  • The panel of judges will, through their own selection and consideration of audience voting, select a 1st place winner to be awarded $500 cash, and a 2nd place winner to be awarded $200 cash.
  • Prizes baskets from our sponsors valued at $300 will also be awarded at the judge’s discretion

How you will be judged:

  • Is the song from the correct decade?
  • Can you sing the song without looking at the words on the screen?
  • How much did you interact with the crowd during your performance?
  • Did you dress up to match the song/artist?
  • How are your vocals?
