Red Hot Karaoke Contest at the Horsethief Pub

Qualifiers April 21, April 28 & May 5
Finals May 12

Qualifiers:

• Contestants may enter 1 song each week of the Qualifiers.
• Panel of judges will select one winner among the qualifiers, and announce the winner that night.
  • Winner is awarded a $100 Horsethief Pub Gift Certificate valid starting the day after winning.
  • Winner is invited back to compete in the contest finals May 12.
  • Winner may attend future qualifier weeks and may sing for practice or enjoyment, but may not participate in the contest again until the finals.
• Entered songs will be video recorded and posted on the Horsethief Pub’s Facebook Page for page fans to vote for a winner by liking the video(s) they enjoy.
  • Video with the most “likes” by the Wednesday at noon after being posted will be selected as the winner.
  • Winner is awarded a $100 Horsethief Pub Gift Certificate valid starting the day after winning.
  • Winner is invited back to compete in the contest finals May 12.
  • Winner may attend future qualifier weeks and may sing for practice or enjoyment, but may not participate in the contest again until the finals.

Finals:

• Up to 6 contestants will have been selected in the qualifier weeks
• The contestants able to attend in person will be able to select one song of their choice (either the same as their qualifier song or a different song at their discretion) to enter in the finals.
• The panel of judges will select a 1st place winner to be awarded $500 cash, and a 2nd place winner to be awarded $100 cash.
• Prizes baskets from French’s & Frank’s Red Hot Sauce valued at $300 will also be awarded at the judge’s discretion

All contest rules are to be interpreted by the panel of judges, and their interpretation is deemed correct and final.

Staff of the Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery are not eligible to enter the contest. Family members of judges are not eligible to win any prize or qualification awarded by the panel of judges.

Contestants deemed by the bartender to be too intoxicated to serve will not be eligible to participate in the contest.
