Live Music: Kevin Olson

Kevin Olson was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. When he was 12 years of age his brothers bought him an electric guitar out of the Sears Christmas catalogue and that was the kickstart to his love of playing. In his early teens his family packed up and moved to Terrace B.C. With music on his mind he met Murray and started a 4 piece Northern rock band cranking out the hit songs of Neil Young, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top, to name a few.    In the late 70’s with growing families on the way, Blues, Roots and Gospel Music brought a depth and seasoning to their artistically charged personalities. After 45 years of friendship, Kevin and Murray are back together in the Columbia Valley warming the hearts of all that enjoy authentic and unique live musical talent.

Musician Kevin Olson is playing at the Horsethief Creek Pub on Monday 7-9 p.m.
