Comedy Nights with Yuk Yuk’s On Tour at the Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery are back on Saturday March 3 with outstanding comedians Matt Foster and Jasen Fredrickson. This March marks 2 years of regular comedy nights at the Horsethief Pub in Radium, and we always have a great time!
Matt Foster
Matt Foster is the son of two professional musicians, so a life in the arts seemed inevitable. Matt became a professional touring drummer and by the age of twenty-one he was performing all over the world on cruise ships.
Rubbing shoulders with the incredibly talented comedians he’d met, a nagging inner voice presented itself. That nagging voice quickly turned into an itch that he had to scratch, and in 2014 Matt took the plunge and attempted stand-up comedy for the first time *cue 1980s triumphant soundtrack.
Since then Matt has had the opportunity to take his show all over Canada, performing in clubs, festivals, corporate shows; just about any place with a microphone and where the people will have him. Every night is different and no two audiences are the same, but the laughter is always there, waiting to be found. For the record, Matt still hear a triumphant 1980s soundtrack in my head whenever I take the stage, and, for all the challenges along the way, the laughter is always worth it.

Jasen Fredrickson
Jasen Fredrickson was born in the seventies, raised in the eighties, graduated from the nineties, and married with children in the two thousandths, has blessed Freddy with a peculiar stance on what is “normal”. His friendly demeanor immediately has you comfortable enough to hitch a ride on his Happy Fun Bus for an exhilarating ride down a bent and twisted highway of the absurd.
Winner of Calgary’s funniest new comedian in 2002, Jesen quickly became a local favorite and has toured extensively across Canada. “Oh my God…”, “…Funniest guy I’ve ever seen,” “He could make the dead laugh,” are just some of the comments that have been said of Jasen’s show.
Not to be missed, Jasen Fredrickson is one comedian that is destined for greatness, but don’t take our word for it. Get on board, hang on tight, and get ready for one crazy amazing happy fun trip with one crazy amazing happy fun guy!
